On this page you can see some of the Akita's from our past, It's down to these dogs we are where we are today.
Church Side Imp of Tikasa and Hollies Princess Cassandra of Tikasa.
Sam and Cassie was our first two Akita's, they gave us such strong foundations and an excellent starting point. They produced our first crufts qualifier, Koi. Koi was also on the discover dog's stand at crufts for his perfect tempreament. Sam and Cassie also produced Shigi and Kogo.
Tikasa's Sumaharma's Saidai Hushigi
Shigi was daughter to Sam and Cassie, she was a large bitch with a excellent tempreament, there wasnt anything Shigi wouldnt mother. She was our first show dog and did us proud gaining multiple firsts, best puppy in show, best of breed, best of opposite sex and best in show. Shigi was a real star. She took some time out from the show ring to have her puppies. Shigi had litters to Claren Tan Tuxedo to Tikasa (Kuma) Nikasuko's Heaven's Moon at Tikasa (Gizmo) and Nikasuko's Red Tiger of Tikasa (Brander). At the age of 8 Shigi passed away Due to a fluke accident of jumping over her 29" grandson causing a twisted stomach. She is always in our heart's.

Mukoosa Apperition of Tikasa
Wisper was bred by the late Larry Stapleford of Mukoosa Akita's. She was a petite, black brindle bitch who addored everything she was best friends with Pepsi. Wisper only ever had one litter of puppies to Nikasuko no Compromise at Riylyn (solomon). Whilst having her puppies shigi and pepsi was in the whelping roon to give her support. In the one litter Wisper had she did us proud, She produced Tikasa's Midnight Express, Jack. Jack is Sire to Huxley on our extenderd family page and is also Grand Farther to Kendo on our extended family page.

Nikasuko Red Tiger of Tikasa
Brander was a large excellent red brindle male with a huge head and the smallest bear like ears. He sired many litters, including those to Shigi and Spirit. Lena on our extended Family Page was Sired by him. Two puppies from Spirit and Brander's litter were exported to Jamica. Nothing I can say about this gorgeous boy will do him justice. He was such a handsome lad. On a night in the house Brander liked nothing more than to sit on the sofa and lapp up the smoke from your cigerette followed by a wiskey and lemonade! a habbit brander had before he came to us. Unfortunately due to having extreamly bad enamel on his teeth (caused by smoking haha) that wouldn't come clean brander never went in the show ring. This enamel has now proved to be hereditary as brander's son and grandson had it. This can still be seen today in Branders great grandson Kendo who also has bad tooth enamel. Its such a shame, Brander's Litter sister was a international Champion, if only he followed in her foot steps!

Spirit of Design for Tikasa
Spirit was the ugly ducking that turned in to the gorgeous swan. Spirit didn't have the best tempreament towards other animals but was so loving and loyal towards family member's, she had litters to brander producing Lena on our extended family page, and two bitches were exported to Jamica. In this litter they also produced a champion in Ireland. Spirit also had a litter to jack producing Huxley on our extended family page.

Do The Max at Tikasa
Pepsi was a gorgeous red and white girl with fantistic markings and a tempreament to die for. Altough Pepsi never had a litter whilst here at Tikasa, she did have a litter whilst in her new home, from which we had her daughter 'Soda' for this reason I feel I should still put this stunning girl on our past page. She was best friends with Wisper and was with her while she gave birth. This little stunner was never shown as she didn't make the hight standard, what a shame.
Tikasa's Midnight Express To quote the words of Carol Davis-Tonge 'the pedigree is a history of the past to use for the future'. Jack Was only shown lightly due to his love of ear's, when is in exemption show classes (for training purposes) he would go to the dog in front or behind whether it be a chihuahua or great dane and nuzzle ears, he especially liked the breeds with dropped ear's. The only ears he liked better were roasted pigs ear's.
Jack, was a true black with a black over coat and under coat, he had much substance and bone. He was bred for a 'genetic' type as set out in the pedigree not just for the look of the parents, proving that what is past does matter.
