It is becoming more and more apparent to us that a lot of rescue centres will not take in and re-home certain breed's, after hearing that the blue cross will not treat Akita's or American Bulldogs we have decided to support Rain Rescue which help all animals. Why should animal charities take it up on their self not to treat certain breeds? can a doctor say he will not treat a person of a different nationality? No is the answer! So whats so difference for rescues? Alot of people donate to charities to help them help all animals not just some breeds! It really makes us angry that some charities can be so choosey!

NEW ADDITION!!

We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Archie Clark, born on the 2nd of June, weighing 7lbs 3 and a half. Both Archie and Hollie are doing well. We would like to thank everyone who sent their love.

All puppies (bar George) went to their new homes on the 13th of June, they are all settling in great! we will add pics of them soon

PUPPIES HAVE ARRIVED!! Both Sugar and Jazz have had their puppies. Sugar and Jazz are doing a great job with their babies. More information on the puppies can be seen on our available page.

Jazz and Rocky mating has been confirmed. At last Rocky is proven!! We thought we would  we thought we would give him double the chance by putting him to Sugar as well......... Just when hes stopped firing blanks!!! We now have two litters sired by Rocky within the space of four weeks! Jazz and Rocky puppies are due on the 25th

We have a new addition here at Tikasa, and some very exciting breeding plan's. She will have her own page pending photo's. We would like to thank Paul and Ian of Kitapei Akita's for allowing us to have this well mannered girl to enhance our red lines.

With the Tikasa Kennels expanding as well as Hollie (haha) we will be moving to new premises in the near future.

Due to Hollie finding out she is expecting her second baby, the Tikasa Dog's will take yet more time out from the show ring. But believe me they will be back with a bang.

Planned litters: we have a litter planned for Spring 2009. Careful and detailed plans have already been put into place. The expected Spring litter is our most exciting litter to date, we will be keeping from this litter for the show ring and we already have a waiting list in place for this fantastic litter. We cant wait!!

We have a new addition at the Tikasa Kennels! More information will be added shortly about this fabulous girl!

We also have a breeding planned for Star as the last mating was unsuccessful. All the people who was on our waiting list have now been transferred on to our next litter's list.

We wont be attending any shows this month as Rocky is blowing his coat in a big way. Rocky may show his face in September.

All puppies are settling in nicely to their new homes, and growing really fast.

 May 27th All puppies have now been sold

May 5th puppies have arrived!!

This is the first Tikasa litter since 2002! Tia has 5 gorgeous babies. We are really excited about this litter, how much fun are we going to have with 5 puppies running around!?!

May 2008 our new web site was launched
